Who We Are
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
About the Photographer: Chelsie Skroback
When I was 15 years old, I got my first camera. It was a Canon, and it was an early birthday present from my grandmother. She told me she knows how much I love to take pictures, and she hoped that her investment would be used well. I don’t think she really knew what kind of passionate person she was creating. Since that time I’ve upgraded my camera twice, practiced my skills and grown my love for an art form that truly captures the essence of being human.
Until I moved to Twin Falls in 2016, the dream of doing photography even as hobby seemed out of reach. Now, though, I have the time, the drive and the desire to create precious memories with as many people as possible in the Twin Falls area.
But enough of the formal introduction, let me tell you a little more about me.
I’m a furmom to two cats and a rambunctious (almost) 3 year old German Shepherd dog. I grew up in the South, so I say “y’all”, like my tea obnoxiously sweet, and still get excited when it snows in the wintertime. I’m married to a wonderful man, who occasionally helps me at sessions, and together we love to play video games, watch Clemson football, and kayaking the Snake River.
Photography is an extension of what I strive to do every single day: show people just how wonderful, beautiful, and amazing they truly are. I want people to feel as confident as I see them through pictures, as beautiful as I see them through pictures. Most of all, I love being able to capture the emotions that seem fleeting in the moment, and preserving them for a lifetime.
I hope that I am given opportunity to photograph your life and your special moments, and if you would like more information on what I can do for you, or any questions, don’ hesitate to email me, submit a Contact form, or visit our Facebook page.
